How Do I Know My Items Were Donated? JunkStopper Transparency Commitment

When JunkStopper says we donate items before disposing of them, how do you know it actually happened? Here is our commitment to transparency and what we do to ensure donation claims are honest.

We Tell You Upfront What We Can Donate

Before the job starts, our crew assesses what is in good enough condition to donate. We tell you honestly which items qualify and which do not. We do not make blanket donation promises on everything — worn, damaged, or recalled items cannot be donated and we say so.

We Name the Organization

When items are donated, we can tell you which organization received them — Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Salvation Army, or a specialty partner. This is not a vague "we donated some of it" — we can tell you specifically where your items went.

Donation Receipts on Request

For tax documentation purposes, we can provide a donation receipt describing what was donated and to which organization. Request this at the time of booking or at the start of the job so we document appropriately throughout.

What Limits Donation

Donation organizations have standards. They do not accept damaged, stained, or recalled items. Mattresses with stains are refused. Sofas with tears are declined. We are honest about what meets donation standards — even when the answer is not what a customer hoped to hear. Honesty serves everyone better than false comfort.

Our Commitment

JunkStopper donates when it is genuinely possible and tells you the truth when it is not. That is our commitment. Call (702) 824-6219.
