Before calling a junk removal company, it is worth knowing what Las Vegas donation options exist. Donating usable items keeps them out of landfills, helps local families, and can sometimes save you money on your junk removal bill. Here is a practical guide to Las Vegas donation centers and what they actually accept.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore Las Vegas
The ReStore accepts furniture, building materials, appliances, and home goods in good condition. They have locations in Las Vegas and Henderson. Some items can be scheduled for free pickup — call ahead. They are selective: no torn furniture, no broken appliances, no items with significant wear.
Goodwill Industries of Southern Nevada
Goodwill has over a dozen drop-off locations throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. They accept clothing, small furniture, household items, and electronics. They do not accept large furniture for drop-off at most locations and have limited pickup availability.
The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army accepts furniture and household goods and offers scheduled free pickup for qualifying items. Like Goodwill, condition standards apply. Call (702) 870-4430 to schedule a pickup evaluation.
St. Vincent de Paul
SVdP operates thrift stores in the Las Vegas area and accepts a wide range of household items. Furniture pickup can sometimes be arranged for larger donations. Call your local branch for current availability.
