Replacing a stove or range is one of the most common kitchen upgrade projects in Las Vegas homes. When the new appliance arrives, the old one needs to go. JunkStopper removes gas and electric stoves and ovens throughout Las Vegas — with one important note about gas models.
Stove and Oven Types We Remove
Freestanding gas ranges
Freestanding electric and induction ranges
Slide-in ranges (gas and electric)
Drop-in cooktops (contractor removal required first)
Double wall ovens
Commercial ranges and restaurant stoves
Critical: Gas Stove Disconnection Required
We cannot disconnect live gas lines. If your stove is gas-connected, the gas line must be capped by a licensed plumber or your gas company before our crew arrives. This is non-negotiable — open gas connections are a safety hazard. Most appliance delivery companies will also refuse to haul away an old gas stove without confirmed disconnection.
Electric Stoves — Ready to Go
Electric stoves require no special disconnection beyond unplugging from the outlet. We pull the range away from the wall, disconnect the power cord, and load it to the truck. Easy and straightforward.
Scrap Metal Value
Stoves and ranges are primarily steel with some aluminum and copper components. They go to scrap metal recyclers after removal — keeping them out of landfills and recovering the material value.
