Most junk removal companies are vague about what happens after they load the truck. JunkStopper believes in full transparency. Here is exactly where your items go after they leave your Las Vegas property.
Stop 1: Donation Centers
Usable furniture, clothing, household goods, and functioning appliances go to Las Vegas area donation centers first. We work with Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, St. Vincent de Paul, and other local organizations. Items donated on your behalf stay in the Las Vegas community and help local families.
Stop 2: Specialized Recyclers
Electronics — certified e-waste recyclers who disassemble TVs, computers, and monitors
Appliances — certified appliance recyclers who recover refrigerants before processing
Metal — scrap metal yards that process steel, aluminum, and copper
Mattresses — mattress recycling facilities when available and accepting material
Stop 3: Clark County Transfer Stations
Items that cannot be donated or recycled go to licensed Clark County transfer stations and landfills. These are regulated facilities that follow Nevada environmental law. We use Republic Services facilities and permitted transfer stations — never illegal dumping sites.
What Never Happens
JunkStopper does not dump illegally. We do not dump on vacant lots, in alleyways, or in unauthorized locations. Every load is tracked to an appropriate licensed facility. This matters because illegal dumping fines in Clark County can be traced back to the original property owner.
The Bottom Line
We estimate that 30 to 50 percent of what we haul is donated or recycled rather than landfilled. That percentage is higher for estate cleanouts and lower for renovation debris. We are always working to improve it. Call (702) 824-6219 to book or ask any questions about our disposal practices.
